By Elusoji Sodeeq   Posted at  9/20/2013 08:00:00 PM   No comments

Hey guys, am back today. I started a topic in my last post on how to

write a great blog post. I believe you have read the first part, well

if you haven't, you can read it here. So, in today's post, I will continue

my 21 techniques on how to write a great blog post.
7)Be as clear as possible:
To write a great blog post, you need to follow the KISS rule (i.e

Keep It Stupid Simple). When writing your blog posts, you should be as

brief as
possible without leaving it important information. Why should your readers

waste their time on your blog if they can't understand in just one or two

sentences?
8)Let your posts be share able:
After the hard work of coming up with such a great post, you need

to make it easy for your readers to share your posts to social media sites

and social bookmarking sites like(facebook, twitter, digg, stumble upon

and the likes).
9)Use important keywords in post titles:
Before writing a blog post, use tools like Google keyword tool to

research specific keywords relevant to your niche. Make sure those

targeted keywords reflect in your post title, but don't make it too

obvious.
10) What's in your brain?
Of course, to produce any output, there needs to be input. Before you can

work, you need to eat. So also do you need to feed your brain before

writing a blog post. So, in essence, what am trying to say is that you

should research the topic you want to write on before even starting to

write. Spend time to familiarize yourself with the post you want to write

about, ask Google, you will surely get the answers you need.
11) What is your post title?
When writing blog posts, your readers should be able to infer

what the title of the post they are reading is. How do you do this? By

using certain key phrases and sentences that are relevant to the post and

its topic.
12)How well do you know your readers?
Before you start writing a particular blog post, you might find it

helpful to ask your readers what they would like you to write about. Doing

this will help you connect well with your readers and you are sure your

post is making sense to them.

OK! guys, I will take a break here and complete this article in my next post, so stay tuned. Remember, subscribe with your email in the email box below so that you get notified as soon as its out. Cheers!
